Research and development areas:
- Basic and applied research of structural, magnetic and optical-luminescence properties of oxides and related materials in the form of single crystal, thin films, ceramics, heterogeneous, disordered and nanoscale systems, as well as their modification under ionizing radiation influence and thermo-chemical treatment;
- Application of oxide materials as active media of functional, quantum and optoelectronics, magneto-optics, spin-wave electronics and spintronics, sensors, scintillator detectors, dosimeters, etc.;
- Development of methods and tools for materials characterization, including nanosystems based on nanoparticles and nanolayers.
